Below are JCHE service opportunities.
* Each family is required to participate in at least two services per
year. Applicants will indicate on your membership form the top
three committee and/or service group areas where your family is
willing to serve (3 total, not three from each category)

FALL KICK-OFF 2009 For this year’s Kick-Off, set for August 22, 2009. Set up,
clean up, lead a game or activity, serve food, decorate, send
invitations, brainstorm event schedule.

WELCOMING COMMITTEE |

For returning members only. Help with welcoming new members by serving as a point of contact for any new members with questions regarding Yahoo, website, or our group in general. |

QUARTERLY WORKSHOPS |
|
In lieu of monthly Mom’s Motivators. Three to four meetings per year, based on popular topics. Committees needed for each session to plan, secure building, set up, clean up, etc. Target months: early November, January, early May, July (in conjunction with bookfair) |

Collect registrations, set up, MC, run sound, stage hand duties, clean up, supervise refreshments, design programs, decorate. |

Set up, clean up, sort clothing and other materials, help with sale. Two events each year, fall and spring.

For next year. Highlights JCHE's various programs from throughout the year through displays and fun presentations, and honors and celebrates the JCHE graduates with an award ceremony. Meal or reception to follow. Typically held 1st Fri. or Sat. in June |

For next year’s Bookfair / Conference. Set up, clean up, signs/programs/ flyers, goodie bags, workshop assistants, registration table, advertising, etc. July 10, 2010 |

Plan or co-plan field trips, park days or activities geared for children birth–age 7. Help with the Holiday or Valentine’s party (i.e. man a craft table, decorate, clean up, etc…) |

Assist children and coach(es) during P.E. and other sports activities. Set up, clean up and/or assist with activities for Field Day in May. |

If you plan to test your child with JCHE, you will have a job at testing. This may count as one of your two services for the year. Sign up for specific jobs will be closer to testing dates which are typically two weekday mornings in mid-April |
